He still chases the nub as it pops in and out, and he’ll dig inside to find it. So it keeps him entertained, even if the fun, fluffy part is gone. I like the fact that it’s on a timer, so I can start it and walk away. I actually bought a second one so each of my cats can play with their own. My aggressive player is bent on destroying the toy, which he hasn’t been able to do other than the little feather that pops out, and my other cat is much more gentle and is content to simply swat at the feather. Good entertainment for both!
My cat plays with it All the time, it has 3 speeds so o change it up for her and I change it from a mouse to the feathers.
It’s whack a mole for cats. Both cats love it. Our oldest cat is really smart. He watches and tries to figure out the pattern. This game randomizes the action and doesn’t seem to have a pattern. It’s hard to challenge the oldest cat and this game does that well.Our youngest cat is still at that “if it moves, kill it” stage. He loves this game too.

I bought this for a five month old kitten that I adopted. She is very rough on her toys but this one is sturdy and keeps her entertained. Has a long battery life. Would purchase again.

Have three cats and when they want to watch the “mouse” they lay in front of this toy and I know to turn it on….it turns itself off after about 5 minutes which saves on batteries. They love watching the mouse pop in and out. Great entertainment for them!
I has been difficult to interest our older cat in any toy. She will play with a new toy for a few minutes and then abandon it. The Pop ‘N Play is different. She lays by the toy & studies it before she attacks. Periodically throughout the day, she will stop at the Pop ‘N Play (whether it’s on or not) and tries to coax the mouse out of hiding. It’s great to see her so engaged – The only thing I’d change is an option for the cat to activate the toy.
We are a family with multiple adult cats (along with the usual set of humans). We first bought one of the standard models of this toy, and for some time we’d occasionally start it up with the little gray mouse toy on it but for the most part cats looked at it like it was either dumb or a little scary. Then, during lockdown, we began working to cheer a cat on when it started to play. Our cats obviously need an audience! One of them later got the gray mouse off its mounting, and we haven’t seen it since. But when researching whether any replacement toys were on the market we learned about the fancier big brother toy. We bought a set of the replacement toys and this one with timer and speed settings. Now we can run both at once, and several cats cooperate to play with it. The feather toys quickly get a little worn from cats grabbing a feather here and there, but they still seem interested in pouncing on the toy. We haven’t yet put the mouse toys back on because we are all enjoying the feather toys so much. It is REALLY nice to be able to start the big toy up and let it run with the timer set to turn it off, so we don’t entirely drain the batteries if we walk away and forget it. The toys get a little on the noisy side, so you probably want to site this in a living or rec room space (there are little enticing sounds you can optionally turn on when the toy is running). With periodic replenishment of the toys, this seems like a toy that will last quite a long time, and entertain and stimulate several cats at once. We are very happy with this purchase!

My cat absolutely loves this toy. The ONLY bad thing is the glue that holds the toy onto the attachment isn’t durable enough for him. He tears it off after time. The feathers also get destroyed. Luckily my husband is able to fix both problems, so as long as the arm doesn’t break or the mechanics keep working, my kitty will have a toy he loves for years.
I waited awhile to write this review because my cat is slooooow to warm up to things. She’ll be 9 soon and she’s a little bit skittish but she is very playful and this toy was finally a hit! It took 5-10 times of turning it on and letting her sniff around and watch it, and she finally batted it and pounced. Now when I turn it on, she comes running to play. As a chunky monkey who needs all the exercise she can get, I love having an interactive toy for her. Sturdy—it got wrestled on by the dogs and never cracked or broke.
Purchased for my 2 kittens (8 months & 6 months). After a short inquisitive period, the older kitten started playing with toy while younger kitten just watched (making sure it was safe?). I’ve tried a lot of other Cat toys, this has them all beat! My CAT’S removed all the Feathers with in the first few play times. The Mouse and Fish held up much better but succumbed in short order. I was panicked, what to do? I looked up the web site and had replacements the following day. Thank you, an Boots and Ravin Thank you also. Oh! PS. pickup the toy after a play time or they will figure out how to pull the teaser out and demolish it in fast order.
The cats enjoyed hunting it. There is a mechanical sound along with a tweeting sound. Both cats hunt the thingies inside. It has worked for awhile on a couple C batteries and shuts itself off after 15 minutes. The mouse attachment was broken when I got it but the feather attachments drove the kitties nuts. They did tear the feathers off those pieces but that is not a manufacture defect as much as overeager cats. The manufacturer did replace all the broken pieces whether by default or by aggressive kitty.
Our 13 year old Peaches loves this toy. She will come to me and very vocally let me know she wants me to turn it on for her ! We are very pleased with how this is made and thankful for the joy it brings Peaches .

If you have an active cat, one who likes to play constantly, get them this toy. My cat goes absolutely wild for it, and it has much better durability than any other toy we’ve gotten for her, especially electronic ones. Seriously, look no further.

My cats love this toy. But they were able to tear the feathers off very quickly, even on the replacement parts. I LOVE how if the cats catch it, it will reset itself and shut off. It eventually shuts itself off which I like because that way I don’t have to put batteries in everyday. I don’t know how long it stays on but it sure seems plenty long for the cats to play and just sit and watch it for awhile!

Cat enjoys this toy
I have 8 cats. So I bought 2of this cat toy and my cats absolutely love it. They come and get my attention when it turns off so that I will turn it on again. They will do somersaults when they are playing with it. They like that feathers the best. Then the mouse. They won’t play with the fish or snake or whatever that other one is. Can we buy just the feathers instead of having to buy all three?
This item was well worth it we have 3 cats who thoroughly enjoy the device. They do manage to tear the feather lure to pieces fairly quickly but it entertains both of us. Battery life is another plus. They last long time.
We bought this for a small dog for Christmas. This dog loves this so much. He will go over to it and cry for you to turn it on! I know it says its for a cat but this 10 pound little dog loves it! If I could give it more that 5 stars I would!!

I can only rate Allstar Innovations customer service since this was a gift. The original Pop N’ Play cat toy was delivered but not opened until Christmas. Unfortunately, the toy made noises but did not make movements. I contacted Pop N’ Play through Amazon email and replied by the next morning. They sent a replacement right away and the new toy worked as advertised. All in all, great customer service.

Gave this to my daughter’s cat for xmas. He went crazy he loved it. He was curious and played with it. Actually tried to catch the feathery toy but jumping and putting a paw in two holes to catch it. Too funny. He was entertained and we were too!
My cats like hide and seek games so this was a good choice. The faster speeds keep them guessing. After a month, they still occasionally like to play with it.
Cats love this toy. Had an issue with the mouse not being able to poke out the holes as easily as the feather but it worked out ok as the cats enjoyed poking their paws inside to find it. We usually run with the sound off and the cats will alert us when it shuts off so they can have another round of play.

This was received today and I took it out of the box, put the batteries in and bam! My kitten played with it non-stop for about an hour! He loves it! One thing, it is a little louder than I expected, but Charlie, my kitten, got used to it long before I did! He warmed up to it right away and just played and played and played! This is my kitty’s favorite toy. She tries to guess where the feather or mouse will pop up next. I love the automatic shut off. However the sound does not work.
Carl enjoys this each day as the older cats spend very little time with him. Keeps him busy and has more interest in other toys now.

Our cat is fascinated by this. We purchased the model with different speeds. It also came with extra “toys” to use. I have replaced a feathered toy already, not because the toy beats it up, but because our cat captures it. As for speed issues as some have noted, if it went any slower our cat would be able to capture the toy and chew it up. We really like this toy.

My 10 yr. old Ragdoll is acting like a kitten again. Love to watch him play with it, especially when he ‘attacks’ the bird feathers. He tears them apart in no time!
The attachments fit fine, however the mouse came off it’s attachment in under a week. The feathers are fine but tend to make the toy stick and are easily removed. I will be looking for other options or trying to glue something to the plastic attachments that came with it.

I just got this for my cats birthday, he loves to play with things like this. I was a little disappointed when I got it he seemed to be afraid of it, the arm moving around is quiet noisy, however I just left it on and walked away for a couple of hours a day. After about 2 days he did start to approach it and now he loves it, plays with it all the time. So they will get used to the noise of the arm moving around, just give them time.

WHAT MORE NEEDS BE SAID. BUDDY, OUR HUGE 10 YEAR OLD BLACK MALE CAT, WHO THINKS HE’S A DOG (ACTUALLY BIGGER THAN FOUR OF OUR DOGS), LOVES IT! The pop n play unit is well made and operates good. The object comes out of all the holes in a random way. It automatically shuts off in 5 minutes or so. The squeaky noise is not so loud that it becomes annoying. The feathers are easy to change to the mouse. The one bad thing is the feathers are easily torn off but the mouse is a lot better. It matters how much they play with it. I recommend this toy for everyone’s cat as long as they are interested in toys.
My cat is very active and stuck in his terrible two’s, He plays with it and when he get tired of catching the feathers, he grips the whole machine and tries to squeeze it
I bought it for my 6month old kitten. He played with it for a few minutes but was soon pushed away by my shihtzu. She then would bark and grab at anyone who tried to touch the toy. Constantly picking it up and and dragging and whining because she can’t get the mouse. It’s hilarious and even though my dog make a lot of noise with it it’s amazing.
I would say giving your cat this toy is equivalent to giving a child an iPad. Keeps them distracted for hours!

This cat toy is very weak, you know its craptastic when the cat can break it. The arm that holds the plastic piece that holds the toy is very thin it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that this design isn’t going to work. All i can say is craptastic!
I have a cat that is quite particular about the toys he plays with. Barely anything grabs his attention. I saw a commercial for this Pop N Play cat toy, and found i on amazon. All I can say is, Finally!I’ve finally found something that my cat is interested in! At first he was curious and watched it before deciding to pounce on it. I’ve noticed other reviewers stating the item they received is too fast. I didn’t have that issue at all and the speed was actually perfect. My cat loves the feather attachment. I can’t wait to try out the mouse attachment next.
It took her 5 seconds to rip the feathers right out of the whole but they love it. Turn it on for a couple days so your cat can play with it then don’t turn it on again for a few days. My cats got bored quick. So I have other thins for them to play with. I haven’t had it on a couple of weeks and I turned it on this morning and she started playing with it again like it was a new toy. But only with the mouse. She can’t hurt that.

We ordered this as a Xmas present for our newly adopted feral cat. We have 2 cats but the other ones is older, set in his way. The new cat had extra energy which we bore the burden of as evidenced by the claw marks on our extremities. When we turned it on, he was alerted right away. He was engrossed, active, involved. We have had it for five days now and, while there are feathers on the floor, he is still engaged.
From a kitten to my 9 year old Lilly this toy will get them off your kitty tree and interacting with it. I foster kittens and they fall head over heals playing with it. One good and bad thing about it is it automatically shuts off. It is a bit noisy but that sure doesn’t deter the cats from enjoying this toy.

I got this for my daughters kitten who has way too much energy. It entertains our cat and she was intrigued by it, but the feathers came off in about 2 minutes. Kind of noisy. But the cat liked it so it’s worth putting up with the sound it makes.
